It is an excellent book of Architecture’s History. I’m honest, I bought it thinking that a more in-depth analysis and study of the Roman Colosseum would come Inside, (As an Architect, I love old roman architecture) at least a few pages dedicated to this, Let me Say it, you won’t find it. What you see on the cover, That’s it, however, the quality of the book and all the historical tour of styles and most famous architecture of every time worth the book.

I just received the book. have not read through only seen it with many nice pictures. Book came quickly and was in good sharp. I have no problem with the size of the book. It has Architecture styles from around the world including a chapter about the Islamic world. It worth the price for me.

I was hoping to get a book that showed the assembly and deep insights in on specific elements and design for different architectural styles, and I got that impression from the listing.
